The forum will address social and economic dimensions of the displacement crisis, including:

• rapidly rising rents;
• access to affordable housing by local renters and workers;
• impacts of new development on displacement;
• the "commute tax" in dollars, hours, and emissions for renters who have to move further away from their local jobs;
• impacts of the high rent burden on local employment.
